The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops are spun at a high speed and utilize 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to swiftly remove dirt, pet hair and sticky dried spills. The vacuum cleaner comes with four power settings, a variety of brushes and attachments, and an intuitive app which lets you choose the type of cleaning you want for each room.
For instance, you can decide to let the robot take care of a thorough clean-up in the living and kitchen areas but be careful with the spare bedroom. The S1 Pro's front colision sensors and smart navigation tech are also excellent and the robot is capable of detecting tiny obstacles that other models struggle with. The only drawback is that it is known to smash into walls and objects at full speed. However looking at the history of cleaning in the app will show you precisely what the robot has done, where it is going, and which obstacles he has run into or avoided.
The docking station has an LCD display that displays the need for maintenance, such as emptying debris and cleaning the water tank that is dirty. It is also able to mix detergent into the tank automatically by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time as well, with the mop being able to operate for up to 184 minutes in quiet mode, and the vacuum can last for 136 minutes in normal mode before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. You can view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and easily understood although we would have liked to be able to differentiate between a vacuum and mop clean, when looking at a clean area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the most recent version. This year's model has a double agitator built into its mopping pad. This improves the carpet cleaning capabilities of this model. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to pick up smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.
The Roborock model, just like the other two I tested it has infrared and a reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology that helps it get around obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. But the S8 Pro Ultra takes things one step further by having a dual camera that can detect objects and decide whether they are a wall or another type of surface. It will then automatically alter its path and clean them without skipping a beat.
It's the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek angular design is striking and comes with three physical buttons. The power button, which also resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles up as a child-lock, and a home-button to take the robot to its dock. Lifting the hinged lid reveals a 350ml dust bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only negative I discovered with this model was that its VibraRise mop pad mount isn't movable. While you can replace the mopping cloth (if necessary) but it's a challenge to take off the mount itself to wash it manually. I've noticed that any plush carpet that the robot touches will be in contact with the rough Velcro-like fastener mechanism on the mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra has a number of smart features which include support for Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to schedule cleanings, monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. You'll have to go through a series of steps to activate voice control on this model. This is a shame considering how well-performing it is otherwise.
3. Dreame X40

It can be programmed to mop only the hard floors, and skip carpeted areas, and reverse the process. It can be controlled by the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure that voice-controlled operations are smooth and easy.
The app is simple and simple to use, and the X40's smart features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, adjust suction power and mode, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 will also keep track of its progress and notify you when it is finished.

This is more than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also clean pet hair, small dirt particles and remove spills and dirty spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is an excellent feature as it stops the growth of mould and unpleasant odours in the storage area, and it also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen in other robot vacuum and mop models. It could be a great method to keep your home cleaner longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleaning times and adjust preferences. The app lets you make these settings or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and offers many options for customising the cleaning process, and there are many features that other robots do not include, for instance, the Clean Genius mode that automatically increases suction power when it detects dust particles instead of using an individual setting.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on the market, sporting a white and metallic design that looks classy and sophisticated. It's a bit heavier at 4kg than the other robots listed on this list but it's not excessively heavy. It is solid and well-built. The mopping system is well designed, and the double rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice addition.
